Good to know

Dear soul,

I have some particularly good news for you from the Word of God.
In Philippians chapter 4, verse 19, we read:

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

Does Jesus already have a place in your heart? If not, invite Him into your heart. You can trust the Saviour and bring all your worries and needs to Him. He will take care of them. Yes, most certainly! Our heavenly Father is a powerful and rich God. As you read these lines, the Saviour is there and wants to help you. What a privilege it is that we can turn to Him! He will give us everything we need for life.
I invite you to pray with me. If you are sick, please place a hand on the sick part of your body. The Lord Jesus will touch you.

Dear Lord Jesus, You know the special need of this dear soul here. I thank You that nothing is impossible with You. You say that when we call upon You, You will hear our prayer. Fill Your child here with Your healing power. Bless this person and their entire household. Please help this person now and intervene in a visible and tangible way. I thank You with all my heart. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Trust in the Lord, for He will make everything right!

Burial or cremation?

Having clarity about the question of burial or cremation is so important and crucial, especially for those affected and their relatives.

In this day and age, it is striking how more and more people are being tempted into cremation because it seems cheap, convenient and modern, but cannot be reversed afterwards.

It is shocking to see how carelessly Christians decide in favour of cremation and how some relatives regret this afterwards and can no longer change it.

According to extensive Christian research from a biblical perspective, cremation is clearly pagan and should be avoided at all costs.

Tip! Read the brochure Erdbestattung oder Kremation? (Burial or Cremation?) by Paul F. Kiene,

What does God's Word say about the ungodliness of the Gentiles?

In Romans 1:18 ff (translated from the German-language Luther Bible 1912) we read:

"For the wrath of God from heaven is revealed against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold back the truth in unrighteousness. For what is known of God is manifest to them; for God has revealed it to them, so that the invisible nature of God, that is, his eternal power and Godhead, may be seen, if it be perceived, by the works, that is, by the creation of the world; so that they have no excuse, because they knew that there was a God, and did not glorify him as a God, nor give thanks to him, but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Thinking themselves wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts, in uncleanness, to dishonour their own bodies in themselves, they that have changed the truth of God into a lie, and have honoured and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is praised for ever and ever. Amen. Wherefore God also gave them up unto vile lusts: for their wives have changed the natural custom into that which is not natural; and the men also have forsaken the natural custom of the woman, and are waxed hot together in their lusts, and have committed adultery one with another, and have received the reward of their error (as it ought to be) in themselves. And just as they did not consider that they knew God, God also gave them over to a perverse mind, to do that which is unseemly, full of all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, malice, envy, murder, maliciousness, cunning, poisonous, deceivers, revilers, despisers of God, workers of iniquity, proud, boastful, vile, disobedient to parents, unwise, unfaithful, unkind, unforgiving, unmerciful. They know the righteousness of God, that those who do these things are worthy of death, and they not only do them but also take pleasure in those who do them."

May we repent, ask God for forgiveness and orientate ourselves to live in a way that is pleasing to God.
